When space becomes a limiting factor, the coils in the WIRELESSPT split-type wireless charging system are thinner and smaller in size.

In the field of industrial wireless charging, the concept of a split design is not new. Separating the power conversion unit from the energy coupling unit and allowing the thinnest coil part to fit into a narrow space has been well-known in the industry for a long time.

However, the real challenge lies in this: Who can make the coil thinner and smaller at the same power level?

Recently, the split 1200W (LYAG120020FT) and 3000W (LYAG300050FT) wireless chargers launched by Shandong WIRELESSPT company provide the answer: Through topological technology optimization, the size of the receiving coil is compressed (1200W, 150mm * 100mm * 32mm) - in products of the same power level, this size is at the industry-leading level.

The core value of the modular design: Opening a door for "uninstallable" equipment

The original intention of the modular design was to solve the problem of limited installation space for industrial equipment. By separating the controller from the coil, the controller can be placed in a relatively spacious position on the vehicle body, while the coil part only retains the most core energy transmission components, which can be embedded in a gap that was originally too narrow to even fit a single finger.

However, how thin the coil can be and how small the volume can be is the key to whether this design can be truly applied. The thinner the coil, the narrower the space it can fit into; the smaller the volume, the less modification to the original structure of the equipment is required - this is a decisive difference for existing equipment renovations and those with limited space.

The modular products of WIRELESSPT precisely grasp this key point. Taking the 3000W model as an example, the size of the receiving coil (coil B) is 220mm * 160mm * 25mm - with a thickness of only 25mm. The thickness of the coil A in the 1200W model is 32mm, and that of coil B is 35mm.

"Making the coil thinner is not a simple reduction in size." WIRELESSPT, "For the coils of high-power wireless charging, the thickness and power output are often in conflict. To break this rule, one must start from the underlying topological structure."

Topology Optimization: A Technological Evolution from "Capable of Installation" to "Better Installation"

The technical team of WIRELESSPT has carried out collaborative optimization in the power conversion topology and magnetic coupling structure. By redesigning the resonant network, engineers were able to enhance the system efficiency while effectively reducing the heat generation in the coil section, thereby allowing for the use of a more compact magnetic core structure and a thinner packaging solution.

The direct result of this technological iteration is: With a power output of 3000W, the thickness of the coil has been compressed to 25 millimeters. This means that on a four-way shuttle vehicle with less than 30 millimeters of remaining space, this system can still be installed in a recessed manner.

"Many customers in the past came to us saying they wanted to use wireless charging, but there wasn't enough space," said WIRELESSPT. "When we went to the site, we indeed found only a few centimeters of space left. At that time, we could only regretfully say that it couldn't be installed. Now with the split design, the situation is completely different."

Application Scenario: Providing Solutions for Limited Spaces

In the field of industrial automation, spaces are often constrained, and there are numerous such devices:

Scenario One: "Millimeter-level Competition" for Four-Way Palletizers

In the automated transformation of dense warehouses, the wireless charging system is applied for four-way palletizers. A case study from an e-commerce warehouse shows that the coil B solution of the WIRELESSPT3000W modular product has a thickness of 25 millimeters.

Scenario Two: "In-Place Transformation of Existing AGVs"

For a large number of existing old AGVs that are already in operation, the vehicle body structure is already fixed, and there is no space reserved for installing charging modules. The modular design enables engineers to embed the coil into the gap of the chassis and install the controller on the side or top, achieving an "in-place transformation".

Scenario Three: "Extreme Space" for Track Inspection Robots

In inspection scenarios such as power tunnels and railway bridges, the vehicle bodies of track robots are often designed to be extremely compact. The coil A solution of the WIRELESSPT1200W modular product can easily be embedded into the narrow space on the side of the track.

No compromise in protection: Reliability enhanced by IP67 certification

Despite the reduction in size, the protection performance of the WIRELESSPT modular product has not been compromised. Both the transmitting coil and the receiving coil have achieved the IP67 protection level.

This indicator continues WIRELESSPT's technical accumulation in waterproof product series. As the only exposed electrical component, the high protection design of the coil ensures long-term reliable operation in harsh environments such as moisture, dust, and oil contamination, eliminating the need for frequent cleaning and maintenance.

Team strength: Technical accumulation behind over 100 patents

WIRELESSPT is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in high-power, industrial-grade wireless charging. The company's R&D team consists of over 30 people, and the core talents come from renowned institutions such as Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Ocean University of China, and Fudan University.

As of now, the company has obtained 45 authorized invention patents, 22 utility model patents, and 2 design patents, with a total of over 100 patents. The company has also passed ISO9000 and ISO14000 system certifications and has a 2,000-square-meter automated assembly and testing workshop in Yantai, with an annual production capacity of 20,000 sets.

WIRELESSPT, "We have been engaged in wireless charging for over a decade. From technology to products, every step has been taken very solidly."

From integration to disassembly: Providing customers with an additional option

In WIRELESSPT's product lineup, integration is the company's traditional strength, representing the ultimate pursuit of power density and compact structure. Over the years, it has gained wide recognition in the market. On the other hand, the disassembly type offers an alternative solution for equipment with limited installation space by means of topology iteration, while maintaining the same power level.

Both solutions are available simultaneously, allowing customers to make choices based on the equipment structure and on-site conditions, rather than being limited by a single technical route.

"Our goal is not to cover all scenarios with a single product," WIRELESSPT, "but to have a suitable product for every scenario. The disassembly type is our answer to the 'not enough space' issue - when space becomes a constraint, we use technology to open it up."
